Биография режиссера: Юрий Немеров – родился 7 октября 1966 года в городе Иркутске в семье известного биолога-ученого К.И. Мишарина.
Отец В.К. Немеров – кандидат геологических наук. Мать Л.А. Немерова – преподаватель биологии в Иркутском сельскохозяйственном институте. После окончания школы был призван в армию.
В 1991 году окончил Иркутский государственный университет, физический факультет.
В 1992 году стал одним из учредителей рекламно-производственной фирмы «Слобода».
С 1994 по 1997 год работал в должности специалиста по компьютерной графике и анимации в телекомпании «Аист» города Иркутска.
В 2000 году совместно с Натальей Немеровой создал студию мультипликации и компьютерной графики «Форсайт», в которой сейчас работают уникальные специалисты, профессионалы с огромным опытом работы: режиссеры, продюсеры, сценаристы, художники, звукорежиссеры, видеомонтажеры. За 20 лет работы в студии изготовлено более тысячи социальных, художественных, рекламных фильмов. Студия «Форсайт» работает по всей России и ближнему зарубежью.

Film summary: The animation is based on the work of the world-famous Nivkh writer Vladimir Mikhailovich Sangi "Chipmunk is looking for a friend". The fairy tale about friendship and the importance of mutual support is based on the ancient folklore of the Nivkh, an indigenous small–numbered people of the North of Sakhalin. A simple story about a chipmunk, who, like a human being, yearns without a friend in the forest, has a deeper philosophical meaning. Friendship should be based on equality and respect, otherwise everyone stands for themselves. The cartoon shows not only the work of Vladimir Mikhailovich Sangi. Its genre construction and artistic design recreate the identity of the Nivkh people: the national peculiarities of clothing and life of the indigenous ethnic group are reliably described. With subtle irony, the images of animals playing a particular role in the life of the Nivkhs are presented, including the bear, whose veneration dates back to ancient times.

Director's biography: Yuri Nemerov was born on October 7th, 1966, in the city of Irkutsk in the family of the famous biologist K.I. Misharin. His father V.K. Nemerov is a candidate of geological Sciences and his mother L.A. Nemerova is a biology teacher at Irkutsk Agricultural Institute.
After graduation from school, he was called into the army.
In 1991 he graduated from Irkutsk State University, Faculty of Physics.
In 1992, he became one of the founders of the advertising and production company Sloboda.
From 1994 to 1997, he worked as a specialist in computer graphics and animation at the Aist TV company in Irkutsk.
In 2000, along with Natalia Nemerova, he created the Foresight animation and computer graphics studio, which now employs unique specialists, professionals with extensive experience: directors, producers, screenwriters, artists, sound engineers, video editors. Over 20 years of work in the studio, more than a thousand social, artistic, and promotional films have been produced. Foresight Studio operates throughout Russia and the near abroad.
