Synopsis:
"Black Moth" is a female-driven eco-fantasy series about an ordinary fourteen-year-old girl named Alice Evergreen. Her life is turned upside down when she discovers that her music has the power to transform her into an ecological superhero — the Black Moth. Alice is inexperienced, imperfect, and full of doubt. She must learn to overcome her fears in order to save the Cascadia Forest and restore the balance of nature. But she is not alone. By her side are Tim, Gamma, and Ann — three young superheroes who grew up in secrecy under the watchful care of "Aunt Tally," a forest ranger. She took them in after their parents vanished in a battle against the villain Ecal. Together, they must master their powers and learn to navigate two worlds — the world of teenagers and the world of nature’s protectors. "Black Moth" explores themes of identity, family, friendship, and the complex relationship between humanity and nature. From teenagers Alice, Ann, and Gamma to the ancient Soul of the Forest and strong female figures — Alice’s mother and Aunt Tally — the series celebrates female strength and resilience.
