First International Animation Film Festival

Khabarovsk

Review of professional Russian and foreign animation of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

Applications for the Festival are already underway and will last until August 10, 2022.

Short animated films and episodes of animated series created no earlier than 2020 are accepted for the Festival competition.

COMPETITIVE AND NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE FESTIVAL

Festival Program

The Festival’s competition program includes:

  • International Animation Short Film Competition
  • International Competition for Animation Series

The non-competition program will be represented by the following events:

  • Screenings of full-length animation films sent to the Festival
  • Screenings of short animation films representing various themes, plots, trends, works of individual animation studios, directors (retrospectives, tributes)
  • Master classes
  • Business program consisting of discussions, creative meetings, lectures, round tables
  • Special contests and promotions

The key event of the business program will be the round table “Current Strategies for Promoting Russian Content Abroad Under Sanctions. Creation of a film market within the framework of the Animur Festival, in which representatives of regional and federal departments are invited.

Festival Jury

The International Jury of the Festival will include professionals in animation art, representatives of the international animation community, professionals in the field – artists, directors, and producers.

The composition of the Jury will be finally determined and published on the website no later than August 31.
