Синопсис фильма: В Северной Осетии в любви и мире живет семья — родители и семь сыновей. Когда началась Вторая мировая война, все сыновья ушли защищать Родину. В первый же год родители получили похоронку на первого сына. В 1942 году война забрала у родителей еще двух сыновей. Не выдержав горя, скончалась мать. Когда пришла похоронка на последнего из сыновей, почтальон отказался нести печальную весть отцу. Старейшины села решили сами сообщить о ней. И когда старик увидел конверт, сердце его остановилось. Спустя 18 лет после окончания войны, в селе установили самый пронзительный обелиск военных лет — в виде скорбящей матери и семи улетающих птиц.

Биография режиссера: Илья Баранов родился в 2005 году. С 10 лет посещал объединение "Компьютерная графика" Дома детского творчества г. Боготола. С 13 лет увлекся компьютерной анимацией. Кроме создания мультфильмов, пробовал себя в качестве актера и видеомонтажера в короткометражных фильмах.

Film Synopsis: There was a lovely and peaceful family of nine — parents and seven sons -, who lived in North Ossetia. When the Second World War has begun all the sons left to defend their homeland. In the first year, the parents received a note on their first son’s death. In 1942, two more sons were killed. Unable to withstand all the pain, the mother died. When the notes on last of the sons' deaths came, the postman refused to deliver the sad news to his father. The elders of the village decided to bring the news by themselves. And when the old man saw the envelope, his heart stopped. One of the most breathtaking war obelisks was founded in the village eighteen years after the end of the war. It was in the form of a grieving mother and seven flying away birds.
Director: Ilya Baranov
Director’s biography: Ilya Baranov was born in 2005. From the age of 10, he attended the "Computer Graphics" club at the Bogotol Children’s Creativity House. At the age of 13, he became passionate about computer animation. In addition to creating cartoons, he also tried himself as an actor and video editor in short films.
